Description
A study of the teaching of exceptional children in a regular Education classroom. The course will consist of the characteristics of all exceptionalities, and educational and behavioral adaptations for exceptional children in the general education classroom. Also included will be topics on effective instructional techniques, strategies, and materials to meet the needs of diverse learners, including students with disabilites. Prerequisite: Admission to the Teacher Education Program or permisson from the Teacher Education Division Chair. Three semester hours credit.
