Description
A study of the historical, sociological, and philosophical foundations of education with emphasis on current issues. Teacher responsibilities related to professional and ethical standards, legal issues that influence the classroom are covered. Curriculum design, standards, lesson planning to scaffold differentiated instruction will be introduced. Three semester hours credit.
