Description

A study in response to human need through Disaster Relief Ministries. The course introduces students to the work of Southern Baptist and Florida Baptist Disaster Relief Ministries. The course includes class instruction, field instruction, and hands on training. The course is designed to lead to credentialing in Disaster Relief Ministry through the Florida Baptist Convention to serve as part of a disaster relief unit as a credentialed volunteer. The course requires an additional fee for credentials and a background check through the Florida Baptist Convention. The student must be willing to sumbit to a background check in order to receive credentails as a disaster relief volunteer. Three semester hours credit.
