An Evening of Class Etiquette Requirements

For the past three years BCM has hosted An Evening of Class formal dinner and while the event has always been free to those who attend the only requirement is that each participant partakes in formal etiquette training. BCM has put together a curriculum we like to call A Touch of Class which provides students with all of the information necessary to participate in a formal dinner such as An Evening of Class. This year the requirements are:

Each student must attend the three etiquette courses provided throughout the Spring semester to be granted admittance to An Evening of Class. Those dates are:

  • Friday, February 17th at 10 AM - Mills Center 1
  • Friday, March 3rd at 10 AM - Mills Center 1
  • Friday, April 21st at 10 AM - Mills Center 1

*If you are unable to attend any of these meetings the video recordings of each meeting will be available below. Simply click the link, log-on to the OneDrive using your MyBCF credentials, view the video, then send an email to stating that you viewed the video so you can receive credit for the etiquette training.

Fall 2017 Events

Thursday, September 14th at 5:00 PM - BCF Olympics

The BCF Olympics is a favorite event among the students. From the plank race to the triathlon, there are many fun, competitive activities that the students enjoy participating in every year. The brother and sister dorms and married housing compete to see which team will win the big trophy (and bragging rights). The Olympics is always a lot of fun and unifies the student body.

Wednesday, September 27th at 7:30 AM - See You At the Pole

Many students may recall this event from high school and middle school. The entire campus will come together at the flagpoles to pray for the school, the Church, the nation, and the world. Refreshments will be provided.

Saturday, October 21st at 9:00 AM - Harvest Day Parade

Thursday, October 26th at 5:00 PM - Candyland

Every dorm is involved in this event. Candyland is designed for the children of faculty, staff, and married students to play games and receive candy from each dorm's station. This year's theme will be Saturday Morning Cartoons. Every year, many children participate in this fun, family-oriented event.

Thursday, November 9th at 7:00 PM - Java Night

Java Night is the BCF version of a Talent Show. Students are able to showcase their many talents and abilities that they would not have the opportunity to display on any other stage. Coffee is provided for this enjoyable, informal event.
