The BCF W.R.I.T.E. Stuff Writing Center is available to all BCF students to enhance their writing skills and techniques.

  • All reviews will be conducted through etutoring appointments, which are scheduled in the afternoons during Monday through Thursday, May 15-July27, 2017.
  • The WC director will not be available June 5-22, but etutoring appointments during that time will be handled by qualified student tutors.
  • Remember that many helpful handouts and links are posted on the WC online page of MyBCF; these items address both citation formatting and grammatical issues, among several other subjects.
  • Students who are not registered on this site,, will not be able to submit papers until they follow the steps for registering (click on the “register” link provided on the first screen that appears when the link above is opened).
Current students can access various helps by clicking here.
(Login is required.)
To Make Appointments:
(ALL students should register or try to log in to the online system during the first week of classes. Doing this early will alleviate frustration later when a student cannot make an appointment because the system does not recognize the student's name.)
With the online registration/appointment reservation system, you should be able to make appointments anywhere you have access to the internet. Follow this link:
(See copy of registration screen below that shows how to get started. Please use only your BCF email address when registering.)
If you have any questions or find any glitches in the system, please contact us via email: or phone: 263-3261 x 543.

Student tutors include Leah Alligood, Rachel Miller, Hannah VanLandingham, Amanda Carnley, John McCrillis, and Melody Barney.

Graduate students will receive advice from the Writing Center director, Prof. DeFelix.
